About this listing
Available now is this particularly rare Fender FSR (fender special run) Made in Japan Hybrid Telecaster Custom finished in indigo, produced as a special limited edition model for the Japanese market in 2020. This is a really interesting take on the classic Telecaster, combining traditional Fender styling with a more unusual HS pickup configuration and some very nice modern touches. The satin-finished body and neck also give it a really clean and understated appearance. The guitar features a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, which looks fantastic and gives the neck a particularly smooth and comfortable feel. The satin finish across the body and neck is another real highlight, giving the guitar a very fast playing feel without the stickiness that can sometimes come with modern gloss polyurethane finishes. It feels immediately comfortable in the hands and is particularly easy to move around the neck.Electronics wise, this Telecaster features a Cunife Wide Range humbucker in the neck position paired with a classic Telecaster single-coil in the bridge. This is a fantastic combination, giving you the warmth, depth and power of a Wide Range humbucker alongside the familiar twang, bite and clarity of a traditional Tele bridge pickup. The HS configuration makes this a particularly versatile Telecaster, covering everything from clean and articulate tones through to much thicker and more powerful sounds. This guitar is in excellent, unmarked condition and plays beautifully with low action and no buzz. It weighs approximately 7.5lbs and has been set up with Ernie Ball 10 gauge strings. It comes with a Fender padded gigbag. A genuinely rare Made in Japan FSR with a very cool specification, fantastic playability and a really useful range of tones, all at a great price.-------------------------------------------------------Worldwide tracked and insured shipping available.
