Particularly noteworthy is the hardtail construction, giving this Stratocaster a distinctive response compared with traditional tremolo-equipped models.The body is crafted from two-piece select Ash and finished in a thin Relic Flash Coat Lacquer. Combined with the fixed Vintage-Style Hardtail bridge, this construction provides a direct, immediate response with excellent resonance, sustain and note definition.The one-piece rift-sawn Maple neck features Fender’s substantial 11/56 Off Center “V” profile, recreating the distinctive feel associated with mid-1950s Fender necks. A 7.25”–9.5” vintage compound radius preserves the comfortable vintage character in the lower positions while offering improved playability further up the neck. The 21 Medium Vintage 47095 frets complete the blend of traditional feel and practical modern refinement.Hand-Wound Custom Shop PickupsThe guitar is equipped with a complete set of Fender Custom Shop Hand-Wound 11/56 Stratocaster single-coil pickups.These pickups are designed to capture the clarity, dynamics and unmistakable character of a great mid-1950s Stratocaster. The middle pickup is RWRP (Reverse Wound / Reverse Polarity), providing hum-cancelling operation in the traditional in-between positions.A 5-way selector provides access to the familiar range of Stratocaster sounds, controlled through a traditional layout of one Master Volume and two Tone controls.Hardtail ConstructionOne of the defining characteristics of this Limited Edition model is its Vintage-Style Hardtail bridge. Without the traditional Stratocaster tremolo system, the strings are anchored directly through the body.This gives the instrument its own distinctive personality, with a particularly immediate attack, excellent tuning stability and a focused, resonant response.
