Epiphone Les Paul Nightfall with Floyd Rose, Ebony finish, made in China, serial number 1008122464.This is an Epiphone Les Paul Nightfall in Ebony, made in China in 2010, with Floyd Rose Special tremolo, locking nut, passive EMG-HZ pickups, ebony fingerboard, Grover tuners, black hardware, and Epiphone hard case.The Nightfall is one of Epiphone’s more aggressive Les Paul variants. It combines the classic Les Paul shape with a faster maple neck, ebony fingerboard, Floyd Rose tremolo, locking nut, and passive EMG-HZ pickups. It is built more for modern rock, metal, lead playing, alternate tunings, and high-gain work than a standard Les Paul Studio or Custom.The guitar has an EMG-HZ-4 pickup in the neck and an EMG-HZ-4A pickup in the bridge. These are passive EMG humbuckers, so there is no battery required. The guitar also has push/pull coil-splitting on the volume controls, giving more tonal options than a normal HH Les Paul.The guitar is in Very Good used condition. It is fully functional and presents well overall, but it shows normal cosmetic signs of use. There are visible light scratches, swirl marks, handling marks, and normal wear on the black gloss body and hardware. The Floyd Rose hardware shows normal signs of age/use around the bridge, screws, and fine tuners. The fretboard and frets appear good from the photos.
