The Epiphone Broadway is a classic hollowbody archtop guitar that embodies over 80 years of Epiphone jazz guitar heritage. Built in Korea in 2014, this instrument captures the spirit of New York’s swing-era big bands with its deep body, vintage aesthetic, and acoustic resonance. Featuring a spruce top paired with a maple back and sides, the Broadway provides a warm, articulate tone tailored for jazz, blues, and classic swing styles.Archtop Construction and TonewoodsThe Epiphone Broadway features a floating rosewood bridge and an acoustic-style spruce top over a maple body, yielding clear projection and mid-range warmth. Its maple neck is carved in a comfortable SlimTaper “C” profile, topped with a rosewood fingerboard adorned with elegant abalone block inlays. The gold hardware, classic “E” tortoiseshell pickguard, and historic Frequensator split-trapeze tailpiece complement its timeless archtop aesthetics.Alnico Classic Humbuckers and ControlsEquipped with a pair of Alnico Classic Humbuckers, the guitar delivers a smooth, vintage-voiced amplified tone. Independent volume and tone controls for both neck and bridge pickups allow players to blend warm, woody neck tones with brighter, defined bridge tones. High-ratio Grover tuners (16:1 ratio) ensure reliable tuning stability for both performance and recording.Technical SpecificationsType: Hollowbody Archtop Electro-Acoustic GuitarManufacturing Year & Country: 2014 – Made in KoreaTop Material: SpruceBody Material: MapleNeck Material: Maple (SlimTaper “C” profile)Fingerboard: Rosewood with Abalone Block InlaysNut Width: 42.67 mm (1.68″)Pickups: 2x Alnico Classic HumbuckersControls: 2x Volume, 2x Tone, 3-way toggle switchBridge & Tailpiece: Floating Rosewood Bridge with Frequensator TailpieceTuning Machines: Grover (16:1 ratio)Pickguard: Tortoiseshell with metal “E” logoHardware Finish: GoldColor: Natural (NA)Weight: 3.9 kg
