Overview
The Brauner Valvet is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone switchable between cardioid and omnidirectional polar pattern. It is manufactured as, and considered to be a scaled down version of Brauner's flagship VM1 condenser microphone.
Over the years, the Valvet has come with either a socketed EF86 tube or a hardwired EF732 subminiature tube. The tube used does not seem to affect value.
