The S2 Custom 24-08 shares many of the same specifications as the S2 Custom 24, but adds a new level of versatility with its intuitive switching system. This guitar's specifications include a maple top, mahogany back and neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with bird inlays. It boasts 24 frets, a 25" Pattern Thin neck, the patented PRS Gen III tremolo, and Phase III tuners with unplated brass shafts and butterfly buttons.
PRS TCI pickups, made in Maryland, USA, deliver full single-coil tones reminiscent of vintage soapbar guitars. The pickups are paired with a 3-way selector switch and two EQ mini-switches. The two EQ mini-switches, when engaged (in the upper position), act as high-pass filters, eliminating low frequencies and allowing highs to pass for greater clarity and a more musical sound.
