1980’s Fender Jazz Bass Special PJ-535 in ultra rare Metallic Pink. There are very few that come out in this colour as it was not generally available in the catalogue of the time. Perhaps a special run for a specific dealer? Wherever it came from is now locked securely in the 80’s, perhaps with some leather pants and a perm. Today, they’re not making them this cool, so grab it while you can.
A beautiful thump from the precision pickup and a fabulous growl from the jazz. The dark rosewood board and all black neck compliment the metallic pink body beautifully. This thing sparkles in every way! The 32 inch scale best punches well above its weight. Marks of use here and there, but overall in very good condition. Everything feels good. Strung with a peachy set of D'Addario Medium Scale Flats and shipping in the original Fender vinyl gig bag.
