Canopus Vintage Snare Wires 14" Chrome Plated

These 14" Chrome Plated Canopus Vintage series snare wires bring out the potential of your snare drum by giving you more dynamic range. The Chrome plating reduces unwanted high pitch overtones, and produce a rich, mild sound. Vintage Series Snare Wires are Japan made, and essentially use vintage Slingerland wires as a base template for their design. The final product has a core thickness of 0.5mm, a spiral diameter of 1.35mm and a pitch of 3.4mm. In addition, the thickness of the end plate is the thinnest you can purchase in the market (0.5mm) giving you tremendous sensitivity. Canopus gave the plate a wavy shape for added strength and durability.
