A top-of-the-line guitar that faithfully reproduces the 1937 D-28

Martin / 2015 D-28 Authentic 1937 VTS

The "Authentic" series reproduces vintage Martin guitars from the 1930s to 1940s, known as the Golden Era.

It is well-known that this is the best acoustic guitar today, with attention to detail such as glue bonding and T-Bar rods, which are made to be the same as those used at the time, and will impress Martin fans and vintage enthusiasts.

This 2015 model is the model when VTS was first introduced.
The processing is done to make it close to the cellular structure of the top material of a vintage Martin that has aged over time, and to create a sound similar to that of a guitar that has been played for a long time, and the same Adirondack spruce is used as the material used at the time.

The sides and back are made of Madagascar rosewood.
The back is a straight-grained, cream-colored guitar with an exotic, powerful grain and an elegant, supple grain, creating a powerful expression.

On the other hand, the sides of the body are densely grained.

The contrast is striking.

The bracing is the same forward-shifted scalloped bracing as the 1937 model.

As the highest-end D-28 model, it has a great dynamic sound and you can enjoy the crisp, voluminous sound to the fullest.

Each note is particularly glossy, and even a light pluck of the strings will spread the rich tone, which is very impressive.

Even if you usually think that chord strokes are enough, try playing arpeggios with a pick. It will change your world.

[Condition]
- One-owner item, fully original, like-new condition
- String height at the 12th fret: 2.5mm on the 6th string side, 2.0mm on the 1st string side
- Saddle protrusion: Approximately 3.0mm to 3.5mm
- Pickup and strap pin installed
- Due to the T-Bar rod specification, the neck cannot be adjusted with the truss rod, but the neck is currently straight and in good playing condition.
- There are no defects in the electrical system, and no problems with use.
