The SG-3000, with its “PLAY LOUD” tagline, was a hit with guitarists when it was released.
This is the fourth generation SG-3000, equipped with Alnico V pickups (SGH-CB).
The metallic color with glitter is befitting of a flagship model.
This color, exclusive to the SG-3000, is a special specification not found on other SG models.
The body top is adorned with abalone shell inlay, and the fingerboard features the SG-3000's signature New Arrow Position. The meticulous craftsmanship, with abalone at the center and white mother-of-pearl on either side, reflects the pinnacle of domestic craftsmanship.
Not only the metal parts but also the pickguard is wrapped in cell binding, exuding a sense of luxury in every detail.
The electronics function properly, and the bi-sound can be smoothly turned on/off using the original switch.
While there is some overall wear from age, there are no noticeable major scratches, and the condition is good.
The neck is currently straight. The truss rod functions properly, and 90% of the frets remain intact, so it can be enjoyed for some time without maintenance.
Hard case included (Yamaha genuine, but from a different era; the case has numerous scratches)
