Orange AD5 all tube 5 watts amplifier in true class A equipped with a 1x10" Celestion G10N-40 40watts 16ohms, one 12AX7 and one EL84.
Many so-called class A amps are actually "simul" class A amps i.e. class AB amps in disguise, and you can realize that once you raise up the volume knob discover they don't act no more like a true class A.
The AD-5 is a "true" class A and a true class A can erogate about quadruple of watts than a class AB amp, so in this case it's kind of have like, say, 20 watts.
It's got vivid, loose, dynamic, round, warm unchained, juicy sound, which no class AB amps will never match.
The Orange AD-5 cuts through the mixer perfectly and it is the ideal companion to live and gigs as much as studio recordings as well.
It's litle , about 37 x 32 x 22 centimeters and that's good because it allows you carry it easily.
This unit was made for the European market as you can see that "230" Volts checked on the rear panel's label, so don't know if it can run properly in your country too; make some search by your own please.
