1985 Kramer Baretta - Galactic Rainbow Graphic by Shannon Hall
This is an incredibly rare and highly sought-after 1985 Kramer Baretta Art Graphic guitar, featuring the stunning Galactic Rainbow artwork from the Fantasy Series. Created by renowned artist Shannon Hall, who is now the official artist for the John Lennon estate, this graphic is a true collector's dream. As noted on VintageKramer.com, these graphics are exceptionally rare, especially on models with the banana headstock.
Condition and Features:
Excellent condition for its age. This guitar was stored safely for 22 years (1995–2017) and has been meticulously maintained since then.
No rust or oxidation. The Floyd Rose tremolo and other hardware are in pristine shape, showing no signs of wear.
Incredible playability. Professionally set up with 9-gauge strings, this guitar plays and sounds like a dream.
Frets in perfect condition. The frets are like new, ensuring a smooth and comfortable playing experience.
Solid construction. Likely made from maple, the body provides excellent tone and sustain. The neck scarf joint is solid and has held strong for over 30 years.
Factory neck shim. A common feature on these models, ensuring optimal action and playability.
Technical Details:
Original Schaller reverse zebra humbucker included. The guitar currently features a Vintage 1980s Dimarzio DP100 Super Distortion humbucker, offering a bold, aggressive tone. The original Schaller pickup is stored and works flawlessly.
Serial number D-2949. A low, early D-series number with a "#4" marking under the pickup (origin of this marking is unknown).
Original hard shell Kramer case included. This rare case is in great condition with functional key locks (keys not included) and is a valuable addition by itself.
Notable Points:
There are some lacquer cracks and a small paint chip under the tremolo (secured with tape).
The volume knob has been replaced with a vintage-style one, visible in some of the photos.
