Eko Ranger VI (1966)

It has a Dreadnought size, a little larger than usual, with a long scale of 65 cm. Pine-spruce top and the rest, sides and back, in 3D maple.

It is X-braced and has a very nice sound that holds up with great sustain. The background is arched.

Spruce top and rosewood fingerboard, with mother-of-pearl inlays. Neck built in 3 pieces of mahogany. The tuning pegs are all metal and are sealed. It has metal nut and zero fret.

It is one of the first guitars that were built of this model, it is "Gold Label" and it also preserves the plastic plugs of the screws, which join the neck to the body, with the Eko logo.

It has been meticulously revised and restored in what little was necessary. The frets and fingerboard have been reconditioned and are just like they were when it left the factory or better. It tunes, octaves and plays perfectly.

One of the best Dreadnought acoustic guitars built in Europe, I can only say good things about it!To highlight the neck, excellent in every way, it has an adjustable bar that reaches the last cm, and that allows a perfect adjustment, the separation of the strings is ideal for those who do not like crowding.

These guitars were highly appreciated for their high manufacturing quality, very good materials, their good performance and their great sound.

They were top of the range of the brand, and more than 100,000 were officially sold. Unfortunately the type of varnish they brought cracked and longitudinal cracks appeared in the varnish. This guitar does not have this problem, the varnish is perfect, with some small almost invisible scratches.

Very comfortable to play!
