The Japanese-made Luxman PD-171 is highly regarded as an analog player that conveys the temperature and even the atmosphere of the music on the vinyl disc. The later PD-171A was released with a universal-type tonearm set. When you pick up this belt-driven analog turntable, you can immediately feel the commitment to the Luxman name: the PD-171A uses a newly developed high-torque AC synchronous motor. By driving the turntable with a wide belt, unnecessary vibrations are eliminated and all the energy is transmitted. This motor drive unit is lavishly equipped with a high-output power supply that incorporates Luxman's unique audio amplifier concept.　The PD-171A is equipped with a high-sensitivity static balance tonearm with a single-point cross suspension bearing structure as standard. It can accommodate a wide range of cartridges. The PD-171A also features a universal type headshell for easy cartridge replacement, and the base of the tonearm is an independent replacement part, allowing the use of tone arms from many famous manufacturers such as SME, SAEC, FR, and Ortofon by using optional accessories. The original headshell is made of magnesium alloy. The sound of the PD-171A is described as extremely clear and smooth, reproducing your favorite records as purely as possible. Every time you play a record on the Luxman PD-171A, you will be captivated by this amazing piece of equipment.

This turntable is gorgeous, in Excellent condition, and working perfectly (please see photos). There are minor signs of use including minor scratches and wood chipping on the plinth. The dust cover has some minor scratches (see photos). This turntable has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. Both 33 and 45 settings work perfectly, and the platter rotation is like clockwork. Don't miss such a great unit in such beautiful condition!
