GENERAL DESCRIPTION

This listing is for an Epifani T-212/UL-212 cab. This cab is sort of a hybrid i.e. an Epifani T-212 cab loaded with Epifani lightweight neodymium speakers. The cab has two 12" neodymium woofers and a tweeter. The prior owner of this cab made switch to neodymium speakers after consulting with Nick Epifani (owner of Epifani). The cab is in very good condition. There is some fuzzing of the carpet, but nothing too bad as you can see in the pics.

If you’re not familiar with Epifani, they are a boutique bass company that builds extremely high quality bass cabs and amps. This cab was hand crafted in New York, USA.  Epifani cabs have a well deserved reputation as a mainstay on stage and in studios around the world.

Because this cab has neodymium speakers, it weighs in at a trim 58 lbs, which is quite light for a 2x12 cab capable of handling 800 watts. As would be expected from an Epifani cab, it has a clear fat bottom end with balanced mids and highs.

THE BOTTOM LINE

High end lightweight 2x12 cabs with neodymium speakers from manufacturers like Epifani and Bergantino typically run more than $1000. You can pick this one up for a lot less.
