The Ebtech Hum-X is specifically designed to eliminate ground-related Hum and Buzz issues, quickly and easily. Simply plug it in, and it filters low voltage from the ground line that causes audio ground loop hum and buzz! Note that the Hum-X maintains a SAFE ground -- NOT a ground lift! The Hum-X does not manipulate voltage in any way, and will not affect sonic quality of audio gear. The Hum-X is not designed to solve cable or pickup related noise.
Simply place the Hum-X on the power cord of offending equipment to get rid of hum and buzz. A built-in LED indicator shows that the Hum X is working. The Hum-X is suitable for use on equipment up to but not exceeding 6 amps of current draw.
