New in open box, ESP MM-04 preamp booster.
Jointly developed by ESP Japan and Finland's Musamaailma, this is the key part of Alexi Laiho's famous guitar sound. It is designed to work with the EMG-HZ, or really any type of passive humbucker pickup. There are in fact several different settings that can be selected, aside from the Alexi preferred one which is quite powerful and distinct. This booster circuit is not widely available for sale outside of Japan.
Box was opened but contents are intact and never installed. Please note the included instructions are in Japanese only, however detailed installation and usage instructions in English are available online. It is not terribly complex as I had another set installed on a guitar recently and this is a second set.
