🎸 1994 Washburn N2 Nuno Bettencourt Signature 🎸🔥 Padauk Red - Korea - Original Bill Lawrence L500XL - Upgraded Gotoh Tremolo 🔥Few guitars capture the spirit of the 1990s rock and shred scene quite like the Washburn N2. Designed alongside Nuno Bettencourt at the height of Extreme’s success, the N2 stripped away everything unnecessary and left behind a fast, aggressive, no-compromise rock machine built for players who value feel, speed and tone above all else.This 1994 Korean-built example is finished in the iconic Padauk Red stain and remains remarkably original for a guitar now over 30 years old. The original Bill Lawrence USA L500XL bridge pickup is present and delivers the huge output, cutting harmonics and unmistakable bite that helped define Nuno’s sound. The neck position retains its original Washburn humbucker, providing warmer lead tones and surprisingly versatile clean sounds.Unlike many N2s that have suffered years of modifications, this example retains its character and originality, with the exception of a very welcome upgrade in the form of a Gotoh locking tremolo system. This provides excellent tuning stability and reliability whilst remaining true to the spirit of the instrument.The neck is exactly what you’d expect from an early N2. Fast, comfortable and incredibly addictive to play. Whether you’re chasing Extreme riffs, classic hard rock tones, hair metal leads or simply looking for one of the coolest signature guitars of the era, this Washburn delivers in spades.Condition is honest and exactly what you’d hope to see from a genuine player’s instrument. There are numerous scratches, marks, dings and areas of cosmetic wear throughout the body and headstock from over three decades of use. The most notable wear can be seen around the headstock tip and body edges. None of this affects playability and there are no structural repairs or breaks to report.
