M307 chip. One of the best archetypal distortion pedals with a 3 way mod for standard ( traditional older original sound with M307 chip), one with less gain and attenuated top end and more headroom, and third is the classic sound with a different eq that has a subdued top end. Amazing sounding pedal that is not frequently seen. No fizzy sound normally associated with the stock RAT pedal. This is a little amp sounding black pedal.
