About This Model
The Marshall JVM205C is a 50W all-valve combo amplifier built around two channels — Clean/Crunch and Overdrive — each offering three footswitchable modes, delivering six distinct sounds from a single amp. Power comes from two EL34 output valves and five ECC83 preamp valves, paired with a 2x12" speaker cabinet loaded with a Celestion Vintage and a Celestion Heritage. Connectivity is comprehensive: alongside the instrument input and five speaker outputs covering 16Ω, 8Ω, and 4Ω loads, there is an XLR emulated line out for direct silent recording, MIDI In and Thru, two effects loops (series and parallel/series), and independent studio-quality digital reverb per channel. Two footswitchable master volumes and a programmable 4-way footswitch with memory — recalling reverb, FX loop, and volume states after power cycles — make it equally at home on stage or in the studio. Hand-built in England.
