Overview
La Baye was a very short-lived venture by start-up guitar builder Dan Helland in the late '60s. These guitars were made in the Holman-Woodell factory in Kansas (which also made the short-lived Wurlitzer guitars), and less than 50 of these unique prototypes were built. La Baye also produced a 12-string version of the 2x4 guitar as well as a bass counterpart.
