It sounds wide, big and musical, and is better than dozens of guitars that I had. It is 'no GAS anymore' perfection level, which is somewhat annoying. It had never been my main only because I prefer baseball bat necks.It is a modern metal axe in the first place - dry, fast, precise. The bridge gives it tons of sustain because it is heavy, string-thru, and screwed to a sustain block routed into the body. The guitar itself is LP-heavy as well, but balanced.D Activators do a great job - as the name implies, it activates and really shines while downtuned to D, while in E standard it is something like EMG81/ Duncan Distortion hybrid. Neck pickup reminds me of Dimarzio Super 2.
