Overview
The Les Paul Standard Plus debuted in 1995 as an alternative to the normal Les Paul Standard of the same era, for those looking for a more luxuriously figured maple top than could be found on the average Standard. The model was updated with new pickups and finishes in 2002, and renamed the Les Paul Standard Premium Plus.
