You can look for this guitar everywhere it is very rare as it has been produced for only 2 years and only a few pieces have been produced, moreover, to find it completely original and in these conditions it is practically impossible.
History
The Fender Bullet was an electric guitar originally designed by John Page and manufactured and marketed by the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. It was first introduced as a line of "student" guitars to replace the outgoing Mustang and Musicmaster models. This a genuine USA Fender made in Fullerton California. They made numerous design changes to this guitar in the first few years and you'll see some with a dual switched pickup configuration and somewhat Telecaster shaped body styles. This is a strat-style body with a single covered pickup that changes from a humbucker to a single coil via an unusual "coil tap" push button near the pots. It has sealed-gear tuners unlike some other variations and we suspect that Fender used whatever parts they had at any given time in the production of these guitars which accounts for the variations. The bridge has individual adjustable string saddles to help intonation. Some history suggests that this is a "Version 2" but the serial number dates to 1981 (V.1) and was probably manufactured during the transition.
The H-1 sported the metal pickguard-bridge combination with one humbucker. It also had a coil tapping button
Condition: This guitar looks and sounds great. About 40 years old!!!
