Akg d190c vintageWell taken care of in a smoke-free studioTested and it works perfectly to know the status of the microphone please check the imagesWhat you see in the picture is the commodity you will getNo cable adaptatur with itYou are looking at a beautiful AKG D190C dynamic cardioid microphone from the 1960s, made in Austria. Its sonic characteristics are exceptional and rival most good dynamic cardioid microphones of that era. If you've never heard of it, know that it offers outstanding sound and a frequency response of 30 to 15,000 Hz. This microphone comes with an AKG microphone clip (see photo). I have two of these, both in mint condition.Rated at 200 ohms. If you appreciate the sound of the E.V. 635A or the AKG D1000E, you will likely love this 190C model, as they are very similar. The D190C offers a smooth sound, ideal for vocals and broadcasting. It is exceptional and the signal is very strong. The signal is, however, much stronger with an XLR to 6.35 mm jack cable.AKG microphones were almost always of very high quality and renowned for their durability and exceptional sound. The microphone comes with an AKG microphone clip that works perfectly with this microphone. It holds the microphone securely and also screws onto any desktop or floor stand. The microphone clip shows no wear.Overall, I would give this microphone a 9+++ on a scale of 1 to 10 for its aesthetics, but I would recommend using it rather than displaying it. It still has decades of life ahead of it. If you are looking for a classic, rare AKG microphone with exceptional sound, this one will do the trick. Its value will only increase due to its rarity and build quality. As with all my vintage microphones and other similar items…I promise you will be satisfied with it for the price paid. If not…Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you for your interest.
