Handcrafted in Texas, this rare Skinpimp fuzz pedal is loaded with a pair of genuine black glass Mullard OC71 germanium transistors and a vintage 2N1305 germanium transistor.
The result is a rich and musical fuzz tone that combines the thick midrange character of a classic Tone Bender with the long sustain and singing lead tones often associated with a Big Muff. Known for its wide tonal range and highly interactive controls, this pedal can deliver everything from warm vintage fuzz textures to aggressive, saturated lead sounds.
Like many traditional germanium fuzz pedals, it operates on battery power only.
Skinpimp is no longer in business, making these pedals increasingly difficult to find and highly sought after by collectors and players alike.
This unit shows some cosmetic signs of use consistent with its age, but it functions perfectly and sounds fantastic.
