[Overview]
A B♭ trumpet, Symphony, manufactured by Brass Sound Creation (BSC). Features a 126mm two-piece yellow brass bell. 460"ML bore. Silver-plated finish. Instrument weight: 1131 grams. Manufactured around 2015. Accessories: Semi-hard single case. List price: ¥492,800

[Condition]
There are some minor scratches and polishing marks on the bell and body sides. There is no plating peeling, noticeable scratches, or dents. The instrument has been cleaned, soft parts replaced, and all parts have been serviced. The finger hook and first valve slide saddle are in their default shape. *The rubber covers on the finger hook, water key, and first valve slide saddle that were originally installed have been removed. (Rubber covers are not included.)

[Features]
This is the "Symphony" (discontinued model), a high-end model from BSC (Brass Sound Creation), run by Japanese craftsman Tomomi Kato, who resides in Germany. It combines traditional handmade techniques with modern acoustic theory, resulting in an instrument that pursues a "warm and rich sound like the human voice."

The common appeal of BSC instruments lies not simply in their loud volume, but in their three-dimensional resonance that carries far, while firmly holding energy at the core of the sound. This instrument, too, features a uniquely designed bell structure with a reinforcement (spine) at the rear, so even when blown roughly, the sound does not scatter, producing a dense and core sound. It does not get buried in forte, and blends naturally in ensembles. This exquisite sense of balance is what makes it worthy of the name "Symphony."

Although the bore size is a typical ML bore, the playing feel is rather closer to a tighter small bore. The response is delicate, and the contours of the sound are clear. Yet, there is no harshness that pierces the ear, and it possesses a fine-grained, moist tone.
