This Epiphone Les Paul Special Double Cut dates from 1995 — from that Korean production era that has earned an excellent reputation among players. These aren’t run-of-the-mill guitars; they’ve become genuinely sought-after instruments.

The original Epiphone P90s sound exactly like good P90s should: raw, direct, woody, and open. Maybe not quite as brilliant as the Gibson versions or a Tonerider Vintage set, but absolutely musical and spot-on. The neck has a flat C profile, feels great right away, and makes the guitar incredibly comfortable to play.

We’ve freshly leveled and polished the frets and given it a complete setup. The result is an instrument that plays buttery smooth, intonates cleanly, and inspires instantly. At just over 3.3 kg it’s also very resonant and lively — perfect for blues, rock, and punk.

Condition is very good: honest play wear and small signs of use, but no major damage. A truly nice, honest Double Cut with character — and it doesn’t have to hide behind its USA sisters.
