This is an original Nagra III “S”. This looks to be heavily modified either by the factory or by a professional. I’ve never seen another one like this before. It looks to have a sticker on it that makes me think it was modified to record in stereo, hence the “S” on the model name. I bought a power supply for this but have no idea how to Work it properly because I don’t understand the symbols or many buttons that aren’t on the regular III model.
I powered it up and the motor spins and I was able to get the speaker to work on certain settings. I can’t figure out any rhyme or reason for the controls so you’ll have ti dog into it yourself if you are more competent with these machines than I am.
Otherwise, is in good cosmetic shape and comes with a nice leather case. Selling as is since I don’t know how to fully test it but the motor does work!
