A new flagship model, the FG9R, has been added to Yamaha's FG series, which has a long history since its release in 1966.

The top is made of Adirondack spruce, the back and sides are made of Indian rosewood, the neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is made of ebony.

This is an all-solid, handmade model made in Japan with an original shape similar to a dreadnought.

The Adirondack spruce top has tapered edges, which increases the structural strength and allows the body to vibrate more effectively.

This contributes to both the power and delicacy of the sound.

The Indian rosewood back and sides are made of a fine, straight-grained material, making it a high-quality wood material worthy of a top-of-the-line model.

Thick bass and brilliant treble.

The sound spread and clarity unique to rosewood fit the Japanese heart, and the Yamaha sound is somehow nostalgic.

The sound of the FG series, which has been loved by many artists over time, is still passed down today.

Finished with a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer finish, it is a luxurious instrument.

The neck heel is marked with the FG mark.

The pegs are Japanese-made GOTOH open-back tuners in cosmo black color.
