This 1966 Mosrite Ventures model, at first glance, is the cleanest one you'll ever find.  It is in fabulously clean cosmetic condition, and a previous owner took the guitar to a Ventures show years ago to have it signed by the band.  The flier for the show, at a venue in Utah, is in the original case. Signatures include Don Wilson, Bob Bogle, Gerry McGee and Leon Taylor.

I was surprised to see the neck pickup cavity altered when we did our deep-dive for pictures.  I always wonder why someone would alter a fine guitar like this, but somewhere along the line someone figured a humbucker or something would be better in the neck position than the Mosrite pickup.  Fortunately, all the original parts were eventually returned to the guitar, and the route is not visible with everything back in position.  Solder joints on the pots were altered but the work was done in a reasonably clean way.

The original frets are low, but that's how Mosrite guitars are, and these haven't received a ton of play.  The neck is in great shape and the truss rod is effective.  The guitar plays well with low action.  

The case is original, missing the original handle but otherwise fully intact.
