Hello
I am putting on sale this rare made in USA Kramer proaxe standard.
The Proaxe is one of the last production Kramers to come out of the factory of Kramer in 1989. It was designed partly by Ed Heller who was a repair specialist and Kramer luthier since the early 80s. The ProAxe guitar was developed to carry the new Floyd Rose Pro trem and took on a 7/8 scale mahogany body with a scalloped lower horn, recessed trem cavity, a pointy head with "ProAxe" after the logo, black hardware, 3 piece laminated maple 24 fret ebony fingerboard with pearl markers. It has one Volume knob a 3 way switch and a tone knob.
Specs:
- Mahogany body ,
- Maple neck - ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl Dot Inlays
- 24 frets - 24.75” Scale
- Floyd Rose Pro
- Pickups:
Bridge : Dimarzio DP159 Evolution ( f spaced) / Neck : Dimarzio DP184 Chopper
I bought this guitar in 2003 in france. There are some scratches and dings, its a player. The trem arm is missing. There are 2 inlay dots on the side of the fretboard missing. There are 2 cracks around the neck pocket, but they have been there since i bought it 20 years ago and havent spread out since then.
Appart from the cosmetic imperfections, it plays perfectly, frets are at least 8/10 and action can be set super low ( more so than my other higher end guitars...)
I am selling it because i dont use it anymore, i prefer alder body tones.
I am open to trade for another guitar ( ESP ).
