Vintage RARE Teisco Del Rey Hollow Body Ry Cooder Pickups 1960's Redburst

A really cool 1960's Es-335 Style Hollowbody Teisco Del Ray with original Whammy and Whammy bar!

I have sold at least 6 of this model Teisco over the years. Not all of these guitars are good. They have a steel reinforced neck and if the neck is straight, they are very easy to setup. Like this one. Jeff the Tech did his magic and this one plays with awesome easy low action. He reset the zero fret and original nut to make them function as they should. He also checked out all the electronics to insure they all work as they should.

The original tuners were replaced by the original Pro Player. Given the extra screw holes and the excellent replacements, I left them on. Originals can be had easily.

If you have never heard the Ry Cooder Made in Japan Pickups, be prepared to be impressed. These pickups are great. Very bold and very hot. You will love these.

The guitar except for the tuners is all original including the original whammy bar and pickguard. Those are always missing.
