The thick(er) body is the same Wolfgang design but is made of mahogany with a 1/2" solid maple flame top and a seven-ply body edge binding.

The two EVH Wolfgang Custom, chrome covered humbuckers are not direct mounted like the "regular" EVH Wolfgang USA. The neck on the EVH Wolfgang USA Custom is a mahogany set neck with a bound ebony fingerboard with custom pearl trapezoid inlays. The angled headstock has a seven-ply binding and an ebony overlay with pearl logo inlay. Eventhough the bridge has finetuners, there is no locking nut on this guitar.  This early version (first batch 2011) came with a 1.6875" (43mm) nut width and a TonePros bridge while later versions had a 1.625" (41.30mm) nut and a Gotoh bridge. Stunning tone from the EVH humbuckers, which definitely capture Eddie's vibe.

This oversized body Wolfgang weighs 10 lb 6 oz.

The guitar is in mint as new condition with zero fret wear. Supplied in its original EVH case, which is pretty special in itself! Gorgeous guitar !!!   Very Rare. Play it or collect it.
