Occasion Selmer Paris Soloist #C* mouthpiece for tenor saxophone.
The Selmer Soloist is a replica of “the” famous Selmer mouthpiece from the 1960s. The Soloist is a classic mouthpiece, with a classic chamber. But round on one side, which makes the sound warmer than with Selmer's S80/S90 mouthpieces. Much sold mouthpiece, definitely worth trying out.
Ligature and cap excluded.
Table length: 23mm
Chamber: horseshoe-shaped
Tip opening: C* / 1.90 mm
Selmer Paris about the Soloist mouthpiece:
Directly inspired by the legendary 1950s model, the Soloist embodies all the qualities that originally made it so successful: a rich, easy-to-modulate sound that remains centered, homogeneous and warm across the spectrum of playing styles. It delivers a high degree of accuracy, especially in the attack of the low notes and on the high notes. These qualities are best known for their stability in all styles of play.
