Peavey 12/14/16/20" Radial Pro 1000 Drum Set 1990s - Natural Gloss

The Peavey Radial Pro drum set is at once a story of massive success and ultimate failure. The concept: create a drum set with a thin shell and no lugs, to allow for the ultimate in shell resonance. On this front the Raidal Pro was a success, with self-supporting wooden rings in place of lugs, and tonal transparency, attack, and body heretofore unseen in drum set technology. Unfortunately, the bulkiness of the execution and polarizing aesthetics did not allow the design to take firm root in the industry, and after eight years, the line was discontinued in 2002. Nonetheless, in the ensuing years the Radial Pros have retained a modest but rabid base of followers, and their uniqueness and positive qualities are impossible to deny.

This kit consists of 10x12", 12x14", and 15x16" hanging toms (including mounts and floor stands), and a 16x20" bass drum. In great condition for its age. Check out the sound file!
