Vintage Darth Vader action figure case made into a electric guitar Darth Halen-caster 2022 Edit vanHalen style

They say when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. Well when life hands me a vintage Darth Vader action figure case from 1978 I tend to make guitars out of them for some reason. And when I get a particularly rough example…I paint them like an Eddie VanHalen guitar from the 80s.

I don’t really know why I do this. I don’t do it all the time. They are not that fun to make. I guess I just don’t like wasting things. Any-hoo…

This guy is built around a solid poplar and maple core and is a pretty serious shredder. I mean it’s still made of plastic but it’s a fun little guitar and sounds great. Paint job isn’t professional style by any means but where are you ever going to find another one? Also if you’re looking for a more “normal” one check my other listings!
