This is a Fender brownface Princeton 6G2 replica, built by French artisan Denis Manlay, one of our finest specialist in boutique amps and pedals here in France.
One of the most sought-after recording amps from Fender's transition era. Often referred to as a "mini-Deluxe," it delivers a warmer, punchier, and more mid-focused tone than the Blackface models that followed.
Hand-built with the best available parts : Mercury Magnetics vintage correct transformers, sprague orange caps and so on... Solid pine wood, finger jointed cabinet, hand-built by Denis as well. Recently serviced by Pi Amp in Lyon (bias and bias-vary trem settings). The speaker is actually a 12" Eminence Cannabis Rex ceramic speaker (not the Utah speaker on the pictures). The combo originally had a Weber Signature alnico (SIG12A-S) that I didn't like for being too harsh and trebly. This speaker was selected by me after trying many others but it might just don't work for your tastes.
If you prefer a "vintage correct" I also have a 10" Eminence GA10-SC64 Alessandro George signature speaker that I can sell for an extra 100€ (new in box).
The amp is in pretty good shape. It's an amazing tone box that can be easily pushed to saturation at reasonnable level. The bias-vary tremolo is to die for.
Weight : 12,6 kg (27,8 lbs.) Power 220V
