Up for sale is this incredibly rare Epiphone Les Paul negative. Had to literally look for years until one came along. It's one of the few Epiphone Les Pauls with a maple fretboard, and this one has the looks to go along with it; these really are hard to find. These guitars are known to have been factory misfitted with a "studio" truss rod cover, it is in fact a standard.
Epiphone originally made these in limited quantities for Long & McQuade, a Canadian guitar retailer. Few were made and even fewer are here in the EU. I've upgraded the pickups to Gibson burstbuckers and I've kept in a very nice case which I will deliver the guitar to you in.
This guitar arrived with shipping damage to me, it had some dents in the lower neck. For this reason the neck is refinished. No structural damage was done and it has been professionally repaired. The color of the neck is more of a bone-white that it originally was like than the cream-white that the rest of the guitar has aged in (check second-to last pic) , over time it will fade to be a similar color. It also has some rough finish imperfections on the end of the fretboard.
I ship international and insured.
Cheers!
