Yamaha 20/12/14/5.5x14". 1970s Vintage Drum Set - Walnut veneer. Birch shells. Ultra rare.

Here is a very clean and exceedingly rare vintage Yamaha 70s era drum set! Sizes are 14x20"/8x12"/14x14" with a matching 5.5x14" snare drum. This kit is in excellent condition and is all original with the exception of its heads! The chrome and finish are in great condition, internal mufflers are present and functional. The veneer is in great shape and has very few cosmetic blemishes with no lifting, there is nothing out of place with it to note beyond very light marks sparsely located throughout the kit. This is a great example of a well-kept set and it sounds great! 
Steve’s notes: Updated 6/2: Thanks very much to a former owner who sent more information about this kit. I also have catalog pics now included. This set has birch shells a walnut veneer. This series is featured in the 1974 catalog.  I am very deep into US brands as you know, and less involved with most International brands, but Yamaha has made, and still makes, great drums. Their jazz kits like this are fabulous sounding and the set looks stunning. This may be one of a kind. Not sure, but in any case, looks and sounds wonderful.
