Take a look at my other listings for more high end violin bows. Here is a very nice antique Violin Bow made by the Prell family. Not certain if it was by August or Hermann. It is 28 3/4” long. The dot looks gold colored. Appraised at $1500 to $2500.Hermann Wilhelm Prell was a skillful German Bogenmacher / Bowmaker. He was born on July 29, 1875 in Bad Brambach, Germany. Hermann Wilhelm spent his formative years as a pupil of Heinrich Hoyer. In the early years afterwards he worked for Albert Nurnberger and August Rau.
