Fully Restored Marantz 1090 45WPC Stereo Integrated Amplifier - Fantastic Condition & Incredible Mar

For sale is a Marantz 1090 stereo integrated amp that has had an over the top restoration performed on it! It now sounds just as good as it looks! This amp puts out a healthy 45WPC into 8 Ohms. As with all Marantz, this receiver has great bass/balance, incredible detail and a fantastic phono stage! The performance is only enhanced (and guaranteed) after the thorough restoration!

Please study the pictures for cosmetic details. Overall it is in very nice shape. Very minor cosmetic flaws around the edges.

This unit received full restoration and calibration of all internal circuit boards includes replacing/upgrading almost all power amp and power supply transistors, every single electrolytic and tantalum capacitor including the main filter caps, regular/Zener diodes and any known troublesome resistors etc. All capacitors are ultra high quality high temp and high reliability, 105 degree C rated parts and the relay is even pulled apart and the contacts are cleaned and burnished and the contacts retensioned. All solder joints are inspected and touched up as needed and any transistors needing matching are matched to better than 1%. Any failing trimpots are replaced with modern high quality replacements. We know from experience exactly what parts are causing trouble in these vintage units and we strive to rebuild them so that they will be good for another 30 years without issue!

All known factory and aftermarket performance upgrades and adjustments were performed. The entire preamp including the phono stage had every single transistor upgraded to lower noise parts. All controls were thoroughly cleaned throughout. All lighting upgraded to LEDs for a cooler running receiver. This unit got the works and it shows in the sound and the looks!!

The sound on this unit is pure, classic Marantz with HUGE punchy bass, amazingly sweet midrange and clear/detailed high end response. Just an all around killer performer in all aspects. No need to go on and on here. This is one of the most desirable vintage receivers for a reason...if you aren't familiar with them then some quick Googling will tell you exactly how popular these units are and why.
