Spectacular Holton C-150 pocket cornet. Handmade IN THE US in about 1971. Silver with gold accents. {Modeled after the famed “baby Distin” pocket cornet presented to the young prodigy cornet virtuoso Herbert Clark in about 1886} The Holton c-150 was handmade at the Holton factory in Wisconsin from the late 1960’s to about 1980. Very few were made. By the serial number (484,xxx) this was made about 1971. There are no dents. The silver is 99.99% intact. All slides pull. The pistons are fast and smooth. Compression is excellent. The top caps, bottom caps, water key and the inside of the bell are trimmed in gold. The horn plays great and is visually stunning. The case is in good condition but not original. Feel free to call at 301-325-9321 thx (shipping insurance is Extra)
