Synsonics Terminator guitar 7020 TABK with onboard amp. Made in Korea, 1980s. This one doesn't say "Terminator" on the headstock, just Synsonics, maybe Schwarzenegger sued. Otherwise the same as the Terminator marked ones, same 7020 TABK (Terminator Amplified Black, I'm guessing) sticker on back of headstock as those.
Excellent condition, a few minor dings and scratches, small spot of pitting/rust on the tremolo bar. About an 8 on a scale of 10 cosmetically.
Just serviced and set up, plays great, low action, no extraneous fret buzz. Straight neck. Electronics work fine.
The overall quality's '60s import guitar level at best. The body is laminated construction. "Ebonized" fretboard. The neck is 1 11/16" wide at the nut. Medium/slim C neck profile. 24" scale length. 22 medium (verging on jumbo) frets.
The internal amp on these sounds trashy, like a transistor radio...I've owned quite a few Terminators, that's just how they are, very little headroom. Uses two 9 volt batteries, (not included) NO leakage in battery compartment. The battery cover door is missing (the whole compartment would have to be replaced if you wanted the door), but the batteries stay in place fine without it.
Controls are: volume control for each pickup and master tone control, amplifier on/off switch. ¼" headphone and output jacks. No case.
