New Jazzmaster Pickguard - Pickguardian Brand
LEAD CIRCUIT ONLY (no rhythm circuit)
Brown Tortoise - 4 ply
Fits USA Jazzmasters and equivalents
For sale is a beautiful brand new tortoise Jazzmaster pickguard routed for the lead circuit controls only. There are no cuts for the rhythm circuit. The finish is beautiful, as one would expect from the Pickguardian who does amazing work. Purchasing one like this from the Pickguardian will cost you $80.
WILL IT FIT MY JAZZMASTER?
This Pickguardian brand pickguard is shaped to be a direct fit for AVRI USA Jazzmasters and equivalents. I find the shape of the Squiers and some MIM models such as the Road Worn series to be very close to the AVRI USA model. This will definitely NOT fit any of the MIJ Japanese Jazzmasters. All of that being said, fitting any aftermarket pickguard into a guitar always involves a little bit of fussing, as wood has a tendency to expand and contract. This is "all in a days work" for a professional luthier/tech, but bear in mind can be a bit frustrating for a DIY-er.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT GENUINE CELLULOID PICKUARDS
Please note this pickguard is made of GENUINE CELLULOID just like was done on vintage Fender guitars. This is the real deal. If you are not familiar with this first hand, then please be aware of 2 very important things:

Please note this pickguard is made of GENUINE CELLULOID just like was done on vintage Fender guitars. This is the real deal. If you are not familiar with this first hand, then please be aware of 2 very important things:
- Celluloid is flammable, so please keep it away from flames.
- Celluloid is a solvent-based plastic and it tends to shrink over the years. Many vintage Fender guitars are plagued with this phenomenon. Most often the material CUPS (like a shallow bowl), so that when placed on a flat surface its edges may be raised 1/4" to 1/2" above the surface. THIS IS PERFECTLY NORMAL. Even though they're cupped when they come out of the package, they will easily be screwed flat onto the guitar (the perimeter screws will easily pull the edges of the cupped pickguard down to the body).
