Blackcoated strings are allowing together with the very low fretwire and the ultrathin straight neck a very very fast playing. It nearly reminds me of playing a fretted fretlessbass. Although this bass was aimed by Jim Burns at a lower market, it still is a beautifull designed musical instrument.
The 4-way tone preselection switch provides not only the famous "Wild Dog", but a very deep and powerful "Bass" and "Contra Bass" preselection as well.
Everything is in perfect working condition. ready for a stage.
During the about 30 years I'm owning this bass, it never had seen a stage. For those asking why: I usually prefer playing my BURNS Shadows Bass, 1964, which is not for sale.
