This guitar is made by Armin Weller, Gitarrenbaumeister, Markneukirchen, Germany. I consider the late mr. Weller a premium maker of very high standards. His guitars have a soul and are beautifully made. Sadly Mr Weller died a number of years ago, so our supply of new Weller guitars sort of dried up. However every now and then, one turns up. Mr Weller maybe considered one of the last old school German masters luthiers. He lived in former eastern Germany, where Markneukirchen was part of before the 'Wende' and was considered the no#1 luthier of the country back in the dark days. Since no-one was allowed to build privately, he was connected to Musima. However he was considered the number 1 luthier during the former eastern Germany regime and they honoured him with a "Armin Weller" Line at Musima, of course this was the top of the line back in those days. After 1989 he started his own workshop. Gitarrenbaumeister Armin Weller is considered highly among colleagues and the small circle often professional players familiar with his name.    This 2003 crossover nylon guitar is very lightweight and has been treated with a typical paper-thin Weller-style french polish finish. It's compact size makes this guitar a very comfortable player without compromising the tone of the instrument. It is not only the great craftsmanship that makes this guitar impressive, it's vocal range and clarity is almost other-worldly. Features include compact cutaway body built using Indian rosewood back and sides mated to a stained spruce top, mahogany neck with 49,5mm (1 15/16") nutwidth, 650mm (25 9/16") scale length, 3-on-a-plate tuners with ivoroid buttons, ebony fretboard, rosewood bridge and built in K&
