The Xaviere XV-550 is a unique blend of solid body and hollowbody. A solid mahogany body is routed to create a hollow interior. No wood is removed beneath the bridge and tailpiece for maximum sustain and resistance to feedback. A SOLID 3/4" maple cap, elegantly carved and bound in cream binding sporting a highly figured Quilt maple top. GFS Crunchy Pats cover everything from modern rock to vintage blues.

Each XV-550 features medium Jumbo nickel-Silver frets- leveled and dressed at the factory for great playability, and a long tenon glue-in neck. The 550 is a supremely versatile guitar, its twin humbuckers producing everything from soft jazz the blistering rock and roll.

The Xaviere logo nicely compliments the elegant headstock. Chrome hardware and vintage style black knobs complete the classic look. Xaviere select their woods for quality, figuring and overall weight. Most XV-550's weigh in the 7 1/2-8 lb range.

The body shows no surface wear. Neck is straight and frets are in good shape. Pickups sound super and all the tone is there. You will receive this item well-packed but without a case, gig bag, the original packaging and paperwork. A gig bag is available for an additional cost.
