When it comes to saxophone mouthpieces, few names carry the recognition, history, and respect of the Selmer S-80 C*! This is a true classic in the alto saxophone world—a mouthpiece trusted by generations of players and celebrated for its warm, rich, full-bodied tone. Crafted by Henri SELMER Paris, one of the most respected names in woodwind history, the S-80 C* features a square chamber and a 1.55 mm tip opening, delivering the kind of centered sound and dependable response that have made it a favorite in concert bands, wind ensembles, and classical saxophone settings.

The Selmer name carries serious musical heritage. Jazz legends John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, and Stan Getz were all associated with Selmer's iconic Mark VI saxophones, while Michael Brecker helped shape the sound of modern jazz. In the classical world, acclaimed saxophonist Claude Delangle has collaborated with Selmer on instrument and mouthpiece development. These artists reflect the remarkable legacy behind the brand, while the S-80 C* has earned its own place as a go-to choice for saxophonists seeking tonal depth, expressive control, and a respected, proven design.

Whether you're refining your concert-band setup, pursuing a rich classical sound, or upgrading to a mouthpiece with a world-class name behind it, the Selmer S-80 C* is an outstanding choice.
