Old Violin Labeled Gaetano Pollastri, Bologna 1933

I bought it in Italy. Please carefully examine photos as they are the biggest part of the description. It's in the condition I received it. Ask questions or more photos before bid. Excellent selection of woods: narrow grained spruce and maple back. Two cracks on top plate, and the back separating at the where two pieces meet. There is a crack on the ribs: see photo. No sound post or bass bar cracks that I can see. Dents patina, wear. Varnish seems to be original. Please bear in mind that this is a violin for restoration. This is how it looks in day light.

It could be some issues that I am not aware of please ask for photos if any need to see specific area. I am a collector not a luthier. Always seek advice from professional luthier when purchasing antique or old or used violin. I do not implement any guarantees on labels or authenticity. Having said that, the instrument is stated as being made by particular maker.
